This Tea is selectively picked downy buds, and supple young leaves right below it, minimally processed into white tea.

In the early spring, when the first lot of new buds appear, farmers rush to the field to pluck them quickly (usually within a week) before they unfurl into leaves. These fine, potent buds appear after a period of dormancy the tea plant goes through in the winter. This causes them to be full of flavors and packed with antioxidants, when minimally processed into white tea within 72 hours of plucking.

Since white teas are minimally processed, they are considered to retain all the beneficial compounds in tea in minimally altered state, hence the most healthy tea, as claimed by some in tea circle.

This particular tea originates in the Ilam district of eastern Nepal at an altitude 7000-7500 feet.

The mix of silver-green and rusty-brown downy buds and tea leaves, smells like sweet watermelon and chocolate. The liquor which looks close to Riesling white wine produces a thick, buttery and smooth texture. Taste notes similar to vanilla and nut milk finishes soft and juicy in your mouth ending up in a settled calming satisfaction.
