Methods to Brew Tea

Therefore we encourage tea lovers to not necessarily bind to traditional methods but let their experience, and discovery guide them. After all, that is where the joy of drinking tea lies. You should try different amounts of tea, steeping time, and water temperature to find the perfect taste you’ll fall in love with.

  • Milder-Soothing

    1. This is the most common way of brewing Silver Tips Tea.
    2. Get 8 oz filtered water and bring it to a boil.
    3. Let it cool down to 80C-90C or 180F-190F, which is about 2 minutes of letting it sit after removing it from the stove after the boil.
    4. Add 1 teaspoon of Tea Buds into a clear glass or steeping cup.
    5. Pour the water into the glass containing the tea buds.
    6. Watch how beautifully the buds start sinking to the bottom one by one after a few minutes.
    7. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
    8. The color is faint golden. The taste is soft and soothing. Enjoy every sip of it.

    Mild-Calming

    1. This is the most balanced way.
    2. Get 8 oz filtered water and bring it to a boil.
    3. Add about 1.5 teaspoons of tea buds into a clear glass or in your Steeping cup.
    4. Pour the boiling hot water into your clear glass or steeping cup containing tea buds.
    5. Let it steep for 12 minutes.
    6. Watch how beautifully the buds start sinking to the bottom one by one after a few minutes.
    7. The color is Bright golden. Enjoy every sip of it.

    1. Get 10 oz filtered water and bring it to a boil.
    2. Drop 1.5 teaspoon of tea buds in the boiling water and let it boil for 2 mins.
    3. Turn off the stove, and let it sit and steep for 10 mins.
    4. This is the most uncommon way of brewing white tea, and People even call it a sin in tea circles, but it is something we have seen farmers do casually in Nepal.
